About
Bluetooth Metronome started as a personal tool. Practicing with a Fender Mustang Micro, the metronome click kept coming through chopped, and no metronome app solved it. So I built one that did.
What it does differently
It plays a very quiet background signal between clicks so Bluetooth devices never go into silent mode and swallow the attack. The rest is what you'd expect from a good practice metronome: drum grooves, tap tempo, adjustable mix and silent bars to train your timing.
How it works
- All sound is generated live in your browser with the Web Audio API. Nothing is downloaded or streamed.
- Timing is scheduled on the audio clock, not on screen timers, so the tempo stays steady even if the page is busy.
- It works offline once loaded, and you can add it to your home screen like an app.
- Your settings are saved only on your device.
Free, with ads
The metronome is free and will stay free. It's supported by ads, placed at the bottom of the page and away from the controls so they never get in the way while you play.
